IPCCTV opens a new realm of possibilities. Traditionally, all CCTV systems have used analogue links to connect cameras through to a central control station. An IP CCTV system has a digital interface that digitally links cameras and the central control station together on an IP Network using UTP cabling. This therefore enables the system to be easily integrated with any new or existing IP Network allowing easy access to video data from networked computers, and even from remotely located workstations over the internet.
